Thoughts from Game 3 of the World Series

What the hell happened to Pedro's hair? It used to be so...fluffy.

You know, it didn't take very long for the Riot Police to come out during the Yankees/Sox game last night. And you know the umpires didn't just walk up and say, "Gimme the Riot Police STAT!"

So that has me thinking: Is that group of cops at the ready at EVERY game like that? That was a fair number of cops in riot gear in very little time. Do they expect problems every game that they need to be at the ready? Or is it a response to 9/11?

Just curious, is all.

At this point, both Game 6 of the ALCS and Airplane! are on at the same time. A man should not have to choose between the two.

Also, can I find it funny that the Con Edison sign at Yankee Stadium isn't lit?
